It was by no means rundown but it lacked life, the white walls, the wood finished cabinets, the boring floor, the same boring lights, it was all colorless and lifeless, and that exact night Florida Superior Painting was born.

I grabbed the first cans of paint I could find at Home Depot, a brush and got to work into making my home what it should’ve always been, my happy place. I substituted the boring white walls for a bright green, I bought plants, hell I even painted my bedroom pink! I remember it like it was yesterday the face that my husband made when he came back and saw it, it was priceless!

And just like that the anxiety that I felt AT MY OWN HOME, the feeling of reliving the same day over and over, and that feeling of being trapped in a cage completely vanished.

The day after when I woke up and looked at my crazy pink walls I instantly felt a rush of energy, a feeling that my living space is doing what it should’ve always done, recharge me and fill me with inspiration and energy to tackle the day head on. Even something as boring as walking into the kitchen and making myself a toast felt like an adventure with all the plants mixed with the green and slight white of the kitchen wall!
